Palliative Care Consultant
Required qualification
MD Palliative Medicine with some training in pediatric palliative care (PPC Echo program or other); or any MD with NFPM; or MD Pediatrics/ DNB Pediatrics/ DCH/ CPS Pediatrics with basic palliative care training (Certificate Course in Essentials of Palliative Care/other)
Experience: 2-year experience
This is a rare opportunity to excel in a fully integrated palliative care multidisciplinary team in a super specialty tertiary level pediatric hospital. This department is one of very few in the country, enabling clinicians to work with a wide range of medical conditions and to train future generations of pediatric palliative care providers. The position entails providing palliative care to children with life-limiting/ life-threatening illnesses and their families when admitted in the hospital, or on OPD basis, or in the home. It offers excellent training and research opportunities and scope for representing our work in various forums.
