Blood Bank Technician
Qualification & Experience:
B.Sc., DMLT with FDA approved with min. 3 to 5 years’ experience in Blood Bank.
Job Description:
- Phlebotomy & Screening of donor
- Blood grouping & cross matching
- Daily Temperatures recording of all equipments
- Stock cheking of Blood , FFP units , platlets & Cryoprecipitate
- Receives samples, makes entries in registers and making Cross match reports
- Issuing WB/PC/FFP/Cryopreciptate units as per requirement of patients
- Pooled cell preparation
- Regular checking of CuSo4 solution under supervision
- Component separation (PC, FFP & Cryoprecipitate) under supervison
- Attending Blood Donation Camp
- Conducting serology tests (HIV, HCV, HBsAg, VDRL)
